KATANA by KAI MIHARA (72.2 cm.)
An O-Suriage middle Muromachi Katana, accompanied by an
N.B.T.H.K. Hozon Origami attributing the blade to Kai Mihara.
This blade bears a Koshi Yujyo Gold Foil Habaki and is mounted
in a good Shirasaya. The Koshirae, consisting of an iron
Owari Sukashi Tsuba with 'bracken-ears' design and similarly themed
Shakudo Fuchi Kashira and Menuki under a green silk Tsukaito and an
Ishime lacquered Saya, contained in a silk brocade bag. It is
accompanied by an N.B.T.H.K. Hozon Origami.
