A painting of Jimmu, who was born in 711 B.C. and became the first Emperor of Japan and was the founder of the present reigning dynasty. He was reknowned throughout his life for his intelligence and courage and various sources state that he lived to the age of 127 and 137. In my opinion, he wasn't a day over 125. I hate it when someone exaggerates like that. Still, it says something about Sushi being good for you. This painting is signed "Take Shichiro Kore Sa" and was most likely painted during the Meiji/Taisho era of fervent nationalism.
