Sendai Suit of Armor

This suit is in typical Sendai style and is comprised of a Sendai Do, an eleven plate Suji Kabuto with a gilt crescent moon Maedate, Mempo with Yodarekake, Tsutsu Gote, eight piece Kusazuri, O-Shino Haidate on green silk brocade and Tsutsu Suneate, all lacquered black with blue and beige lacing. Presently, it is mounted on an iron frame, which makes it appear as if it were sitting on an armor box, which does not come with this suit.
