Sankei Tsuba   (8.9cm.)

Sankei, whose art name was Tansuishi, was a student of Seiryuken Eiju, a member of the Umetada family. Eiju studied with Tetsugendo Naoshige and was known for his dragons in sukidashi-bori. Both Eiju and Sankei used Sosho Script (grass writing) to inscribe their signatures with a Kao.
