We offer Habaki in many varying styles and metals and can duplicate unusual pieces in most cases. Our main Habaki-Shi is Nakata Ikuo, who is Mukansa level and who has been declared by Mr. Tanobe of the N.B.T.H.K. as the number one Habaki-Shi in Japan. His students include Brian Tschernega, with whom many of you are familiar. We try to recommend the appropriate type of Habaki for each sword and there are quite a few styles from which to choose. We will illustrate some below and will add to this number from time to time.
